Subject: Should I send a 1-page plan for Northwind’s week-1 activation?

Hi Dana,

Noticed your 31 Aug post about week-1 drop-off — the part where trial users never hit the “first dashboard win” stuck out.

I help B2B indie SaaS teams get a live launch + onboarding email sequence in 5 days — usually by pairing fast AI research with a human edit pass so it doesn’t sound like every other SaaS. Recent example: four onboarding emails live in one work week for a seed-stage CRM.

If week-1 activation is still on your plate, I can send a one-page plan tailored to Northwind (no charge). Worth it, or not a priority?

Why it’s here: So you can see the paid delta — a filled Script 1 with a real public hook, not a blank template. The kit also has her Offer One-Pager, pricing math, 10-row tracker, reply/call/proposal, and Day 7 retro.

Script 5 — LinkedIn InMail / DM: teardown offer

When to use

You can give a tiny public teardown (landing page, onboarding email, hiring post).

Hi [Name],

Looked at [URL/page]. Two things that are likely costing you [leads/replies/time]:

1) [Specific observation]
2) [Specific observation]

I can send a 10-minute written teardown with fixes this week. If it’s useful, we can talk about implementation. If not, you still keep the notes.

Want me to send it?

Why it works: Value first; paid work becomes a natural extension.

Script 9 — Follow-up #1 (all channels)

When to use

2–3 days after no reply. Shorter than the original.

Email subject: Re: [original subject]

Hi [Name] — bumping this once in case it got buried.

Still happy to send the one-page plan for [outcome] if useful. If timing’s off, tell me to close the loop and I will.

LinkedIn/X version

Quick bump on my note about [outcome]. Want the 1-pager, or should I drop it?
Script 10 — Follow-up #2 / breakup + value

When to use

5–7 days after Script 9. Last touch unless they reply.

Subject: Closing the loop (+ a free [asset])

Hi [Name],

I’ll close the loop on my side so I’m not another unread ping.

One thing that might still help even if we never work together: [link or pasted mini-checklist related to their pain].

If [pain] heats up later, I’m around.

Last note from me — sharing this free [checklist/teardown summary] in case it helps with [pain]: [link]. Wishing you a clean ship on [project].
Personalization hooks that don’t feel creepy

Good hooks (public + relevant)

  • They launched a feature / product
  • They published a post admitting a bottleneck
  • They’re hiring for a related role
  • They asked for tool/freelancer recommendations
  • Their onboarding/docs have an obvious gap you can name politely

Bad hooks

  • Commenting on photos, family, or politics
  • Fake “loved your recent post” with no detail
  • Complimenting funding amount in a weird way
